Living to Please God (1 Thess 4:1-10)

In this month of giving thanks we do well to consider our past, present and future with Jesus. Every day we make choices to please ourselves or to please God that will affect the adventure that we live and the legacy that we leave. We will be looking at 1 Thessalonians 4. Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday at 10:15am to be encouraged to love God’s family and to live to please God.

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. 1 Thessalonians 4:1

 A. Consider Jesus and your PAST (Eph. 2:8-10)

 B. Consider Jesus and your PRESENT (Eph. 5:8-10)

 C. Consider Jesus and your FUTURE (Col. 3:8-10)

#2 Live SET APART to God (1 Thess. 4:3-5, 7-8)

#3 Live with LOVE for those in God’s family (1 Thess. 4:6, 9-10)
